Pain & Injury
Sports Therapy & Injury Treatment
For pain, injury, recurring problems and restrictions that are getting in the way of how you want to live and move.
This may include back, neck and shoulder pain, muscular and joint problems, sports injuries and overuse problems.
Through assessment, individually tailored hands-on treatment and rehabilitation we look not only at where something hurts, but at what may be contributing to it.

Movement & Recovery
Helping your body return to what you ask of it
Sport, golf, running, cycling, walking, training and physically demanding work all place demands on the body.
Treatment can help work with muscular tension and restricted movement while giving the body space to recover.
Movement and rehabilitation can also form part of the session where appropriate, helping you develop mobility, strength and confidence in how you move.

Wellbeing & Deep Relaxation
Sometimes the body simply needs space to let go
Periods of stress, poor sleep, physical work or simply being constantly busy can leave us feeling tense, tired and unable to completely switch off.
A Deep Relaxation & Recovery Massage follows a slower, more flowing treatment. We create time and space for the body to settle, release tension and reconnect.
There doesn’t have to be a problem to solve. Sometimes wellbeing is about giving ourselves the space to stop, to breathe and recover.

My Philosophy
The place we experience pain isn’t always the whole story.
Our bodies are constantly adapting – to injury, work, sport, stress and the way we move through everyday life. Most of the time these adaptations serve us well. But sometimes they become patterns that begin to restrict us.
This is why I am interested in more than simply where something hurts. I’m interested in how you move, where you hold tension, how your body has adapted and what may be contributing to what you are experiencing.
And sometimes the answer isn’t about doing more. Sometimes it is about allowing the body to do less.
Treatment can therefore have different intentions.
To relieve. To restore. To recover. To reconnect.
The approach changes depending upon what you need.

What Clients Say
James W.
“Mark is a fantastic massage therapist. His ability to treat the whole physical body, noticing where areas need focus and release, is rare. I have experienced many therapists, and I am very selective as I have low back pain; Mark falls into my top 1% category of therapists I trust. When I leave his treatments I feel deeply worked over, renewed, and relaxed.”
Eileen M.
“Both my husband and I have been having sports and therapeutic massages with Mark, which have been outstanding. He has really helped to ease some of the problems I have been experiencing. He has a lot of knowledge and understanding of the needs of his clients, and can offer a wide range of help and support. I would highly recommend his services in general.”
